Job description: The applicant must have experience in managing European and/or National Projects in the field of Hydrogen Energy. He/she should also have experience in conducting techno-economical analyses for integrated hydrogen power systems and provide expertise in market related issues including legislative, regulations and standardization aspects.
An international, competitive recruitment strategy was applied by the coordinator for the first external expert foreseen in ATLAS-H2. The recruitment policy was in accordance with the prevailing policy of the National Research Center Demokritos (NCSRD) and included publication of the vacancy in websites and newspapers. The coordinator and the concerned partner (Hystore) also contacted a number of academic and industrial groups that are active in the field in order to further ensure the selection of an expert that actually fist to the project needs. The recruitment procedure was also in line with the principles set out in the European Charter for Researchers and in the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The vacancy was advertised at EURAXESS.
There was a period of more than two months following publication until the deadline of submission of applications by the interested persons as required by EURAXESS rules (the job opening was posted by NCSRD on 09/09/2010 and was left open until 15/11/2010).
2nd recruitment
Job description: A senior expert on the development of novel micro-/meso- porous materials for energy storage applications is envisaged from ATLAS-H2 action to provide additional to the existing in the consortium expertise for an enhanced understanding of the performance of qualified storage materials. The ideal candidate will also offer training on such characterization methods to the host organization staff and to the seconded personnel. In addition, the ideal candidate will provide his / her experience on R&D project management with emphasis on international collaborative undertakings.
