Secondments&Recruitments
As experienced researchers in the SME partners already have a good industrial & market knowledge base, the main scientific training needs for them concerned getting informed about new scientific developments, experimental techniques on system development or theoretical developments (modelling, optimization, control, etc). In addition, to become successful researchers they have to develop complementary skills related to research management and in particular entrepreneurial and application oriented research management in an international and interdisciplinary context. Senior researchers involved in the ATLAS-MHC project were challenged to contemporary develop both complementary scientific skills and such management skills. Finally, ESRs were given the opportunity to work at industrial environments, supervised by very experienced researchers and concentrate on industry driven R&D needs.
In total, 249 PMs were implemented for secondments/recruitments within the partnership during the current IAPP action.
